- How do I create an account?
- You can create a free account by clicking “Get Started Free” or “Sign Up” on the homepage. You can also sign in with your Google account for faster registration.
- What does Crafty cost?
- Crafty offers multiple subscription plans to fit different team sizes and needs. Contact us for detailed pricing information and to find the plan that works best for your projects.
- Can I try Crafty for free?
- Yes! You can start with our free plan to test the functionality before upgrading to a paid subscription.
Website
- How do I create a new project?
- Sign in to your dashboard, go to the ‘Projects’ section and click ‘New Project’. Fill in project information like name, description, start and end dates, and select which company or hub owns the project.
- How do I invite team members?
- You can invite team members by going to your company or project and clicking ‘Invite Members’. Enter their email address and select what role they should have (Owner, Editor or Viewer).
- What’s the difference between Hubs, Companies and Projects?
Companies: Your organization that owns multiple hubs and projects
Hubs: A mediation service where hub owners connect private individuals or businesses with trusted contractors. Hub owners maintain relationships with multiple craftsmen and can facilitate various construction and renovation jobs. The hub owner may charge a mediation fee, which is handled between the mediator and the contractor
Projects: Individual construction projects with their own tasks, timelines and teams
Android App
- Where can I download the Android app?
- The Android app is available on Google Play Store at:

- Crafty Android app requires Android 7.0 (API level 24) or later to function optimally.
- How does time tracking work in the app?
- The app uses geofencing technology to automatically track when you enter and leave project areas. This provides you with detailed reports of your location-based activity that you can use as a basis for billing your time to clients. The system gives you accurate records without manual time tracking.
- Can I take photos in the app and link them to projects?
- Yes! One of Crafty’s strongest features is automatically associating photos with the right project. When you take pictures in the app they are automatically linked to the active project, making it easy to document progress and work in the field.
- What is geofencing and how is it used?
- Geofencing lets you create virtual boundaries around work sites. When you enter or leave these areas, the app automatically logs this activity. This creates detailed reports showing when and how long you were at different project locations, which serves as reliable documentation for time billing and project tracking.
- Does the app work offline?
- Parts of the Android app work offline, including taking photos and logging geofence events. Data syncs automatically when you get internet connection again. Some features like collaboration and real-time updates require internet connection.
iOS App
- When is the iOS app coming?
- We’re working hard on developing the iOS app. You can sign up for our waitlist on the /ios page to get notified when it becomes available in the App Store.
- Will the iOS app have the same features as Android?
- Yes, our goal is for the iOS app to have the same functionality as the Android app, including geofence-based time tracking, photo management, and offline features.
Subscriptions & Payment
- How do I upgrade my subscription?
- You can upgrade your subscription from your dashboard. Choose the plan that fits your needs and follow the payment instructions.
- Can I purchase subscriptions via the Android app?
- Yes, you can purchase and manage subscriptions directly in the Android app via Google Play Store. You can choose whether the subscription should be for your personal account or for your company.
- What happens if I cancel my subscription?
- If you cancel your subscription you retain access to your data and can continue using basic features until the subscription period expires. After that you move to the free plan with limited features.
- What payment methods are accepted?
- In the Android app you can pay via Google Play Store with the payment methods linked to your Google account. For web payments, contact us for available payment options.
Security & Data
- How secure is my data in Crafty?
- We take security very seriously. All data is stored securely in Firebase/Google Cloud with encryption both at rest and in transit. We follow industry standards for data security and GDPR compliance.
- Who has access to my projects?
- Only people you explicitly invite have access to your projects. We have a detailed role-based access system where you can control who can view, edit or administer your projects.

- How do I get help if I encounter problems?
- You can contact our support via the contact form on the website, send email or use the support function in the app. We strive to respond within 24 hours on business days.
- Is there training material available?
